Deer Park Wrestling Nears NEA Title

Deer Park wrestling remained perfect in their quest to repeat as Northeast “A” League champions last Tuesday dominating Freeman 52- 18.

Winning by fall were Liam Bogle ( 170), Spencer Connor ( 195), and Evan Brinlee ( 113).

With the match well in hand, the final two bouts of the evening featured brothers Brock (sopnomore, 132) and Blake (freshman, 138) Berger. The two Stag underclassmen recorded wins over upperclassmen of the Scotties to close out the bout sheet.

Two home dates remain starting with The Battle Of The Horns against Riverside on the 24th and Colville on the 26th.

Deer Park will be hosting the regional tournament on February 11, the final stop before the Mat Classic at the Tacoma Dome.
