Providence Expands Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Services With New Clinic

The new clinic is conveniently located near Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Spokane, Wash. —Providence Sports Medicine is growing its services with the addition of a new clinic and provider. Providence Sports Medicine- South is now accepting patients at 820 S. McClellan Street, Suite 101, near Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Patients can make an appointment by referral or with a consult by calling Providence Sports- Medicine- South at 509- 4647930.

Dr. Travis Hughes will be the primary provider at Providence Sports- Medicine South. The University of Washington graduate is board- certified in sports medicine and internal medicine.

Primary services include injury prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Teams work closely with local orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other specialists as needed.

“Providence is passionate about helping people live active lives, whether that's through sports, recreation, or work. We look forward to helping even more people at this new clinic,” said Dr. Rebecca Mallo, Providence Medical Group chief medical officer.

This is Providence's third orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in the Spokane area. The others are located in North Spokane and Spokane Valley.
