Volleyball Scores Sept 19- 25

Lakeside ( 5- 1, 4- 1) won all three matches last week, earning wins over Deer Park, Colville, and East Valley. On Monday against Deer Park ( 3- 3, 3- 2) the Eagles won by scores of 25- 15, 25- 15, and 25- 21. Gabriella

Rodriguez had 14 kills and Katie Sturm added 20 assists for Lakeside. On Tuesday against Colville ( 5- 3, 3- 2), Lakeside put up scores of 25- 7, 25- 12, and 25- 14 in the sweep. Rodriguez had 9 kills and Sturm handed out 15 more assists. Saturday’s match against East Valley ( 1- 4) took four games, but Lakeside came away with a 25- 16, 26- 28, 25- 8, and 25- 9 win. Rodriguez was once again huge for Lakeside with 22 kills, and 9 digs.

Riverside ( 2- 5, 1- 4) went winless in three matches last week, with losses to Freeman, Deer Park and Chewelah. Tuesday against Freeman ( 7- 0, 5- 0) the Rams fell in three games 256, 26- 6, and 25- 12. Thursday against Deer Park went to four games, but Riverside fell 18- 25, 25- 21, 26- 28, and 19- 25. Haddie Schneider had six kills for the Rams. Saturday’s match resulted in a sweep for the Cougars, 25- 15, 25- 16, and 25- 21. Emma Oergel had 11 assists and two aces for Riverside, while Bailey Fuller had 15 assists and 5 aces for

Chewelah.

Northwest Christian ( 24, 1- 1) split a pair of matches sweeping Davenport but falling to Upper Columbia Academy. Tuesday’s match against Davenport was competitive but resulted in a sweep for the Crusaders, 25- 22, 27- 25, and 25- 22. Morgan Barnett had seven kills for Northwest Christian while Charissa Carey added 2 aces and 10 assists. Thursday against Upper Columbia Academy the Crusaders were swept 2517, 25- 21, and 25- 10. Carey had 6 assists and four digs for the Crusaders in this match.
